The company commenced golf course operation in 2002, establishing the principle of integrated golf course services the following year. Since this time, the company has continued to provide new golf course services based on the principle of integrated golf course services under the Accordia Golf brand. The golf courses operated by the company account for approximately 5% of Japan’s approximately 2,400 golf courses, with most distributed in the heavily populated three largest metropolitan areas or major regional urban centers. With the total number of visitors each year surpassing 7.5 million, we continue to enjoy the support of many golfers. The company will continue to endeavor to create new golf settings that will convey the appeal of golf not only to keen golfers but to those who have never had the opportunity to play.
In addition, to increase the number of operating golf courses, in 2014 we built the “Accordia Golf Trust,” an organization with the function of holding golf course assets, and transferred many golf courses whose earnings have been stabilized, while the Group continues to take on the operation and management of such golf courses.
Accordia Golf Trust is the Group’s strategic partner, operating in line with the growth strategy of building a portfolio of golf courses with stable earnings.
